Judgmental

NEVER BE JUDGMENTAL

When one travels on their journey through life
They should take time to smile at all they meet
And never be judgmental
As one never knows if the other is bleeding inside

No one ever knows another’s inner pain
So how can one judge another without knowing their pain
The outer layer may look fine to all we meet
But deep inside it’s the inner layer that really counts

Some of them have been to hell and back
And endured pain and trauma
That took its toll and shaped their lives
To get where they are today

So when one passes another as they walk along the street
Give them a warm smile to make their day complete
Or stop and lend a helping hand if they cry out for help
To give them a chance to show their true self-worth

It helps them to know that someone did care
As they stopped to help
Or that they took the time to listen
As they cried out for help

All everyone wants in this lifetime.
Is to be loved and accepted
By everyone they meet
Just for being themselves

One has to remember as they journey on through life
Not to judge any others whom they should meet
Unless they’ve walked the miles in their shoes
As one day they may find themselves at the same place
